Biweekly dialogue and brainstorming sessions around the unique challenges and hidden opportunities of transitioning community-engaged courses to an online medium.

 

Topics include:

  • the ethics of virtual volunteering,
  • bringing satisfactory closure to a chaotic semester,
  • involving students in the process of community recovery,
  • lessons learned from the current crisis, and
  • the implications of this crisis for the future of community-engaged teaching at UVA.

Next scheduled sessions: 10 to 11 a.m. on May 1 and May 15. Please note that the sessions are in Eastern Time.
